I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. the location was perfect for me as I was attending a business event at the nearby Weald & Down Museum. It was so convenient to be just a short drive away. Secondly, the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. I had a last-minute request to check in early, and they were more than happy to assist. The service was top-notch. Lastly, the rooms were clean, comfortable, and had excellent water pressure in the shower. It's always a bonus when you can enjoy a refreshing shower after a long day. And let me not forget to mention the breakfast - it was absolutely scrumptious! The variety of options and the quality of the food exceeded my expectations. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
All was well during my stay.

The rooms were very comfortable and nicely decorated, with powerful showers. The staff were professional, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout our stay.- The evening meal was superb, with a great selection and beautifully presented dishes.- The pub offered a good variety of local ales, which were a perfect match with our meals.- The location was lovely, with plenty of parking available and fast WiFi in both the pub and the rooms.
Toast was not even provided. The menu choices were a bit limited, especially for those looking for more traditional food options.

the staff was very welcoming and hospitable and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. I was delighted by the spaciousness of my room and the stunning views of the surrounding countryside from the window. the breakfast spread was sumptuous, with a variety of tasty dishes and plenty of coffee. the location was also perfect as it was close to a few museums and had beautiful walking trails nearby.
the decor of the hotel, particularly in the common area, was outdated and a bit shabby.
